November 8 is World Town Planning Day!

November 8 is World Town Planning Day!

World Town Planning Day (WTPD) is an international day celebrating the accomplishments of planners and their contributions to their communities. On November 8, planners in more than 30 countries participate in World Town Planning Day activities annually, a practice that began in 1949.

The WTPD Online Conference Organizing Committee invites you to celebrate this special day by joining the World Town Planning Day Online Conference, at no cost! This is a great event for those looking to expand their knowledge on a specific topic, or just to learn about the issues affecting planning in communities around the world.

This online conference was created to allow built environment professionals to get together ‘virtually’ and discuss key concepts.
This year’s themes include:
• Housing
• Sustainable Development
• Healthy Communities
• Economic Development
• Infrastructure
• Urbanization
• Governance
