Urban Sustainability Management – short learning programme

The Department of Town and Regional Planning (UJ FEBE) will be presenting a short learning programme on urban sustainability management during the winter recess period.

The course is designed for any holder of a NQF 7 or 8 qualification relevant Built Environment field, such as town and regional planning, architecture, quantity surveying and construction, civil engineering, building sciences, real estate and valuation and those aspiring to join the field; to further their understanding, refine their skills and build their competence in planning, designing, developing and managing the physical, social, economic, environmental and institutional aspects of urban areas so that they contribute to the well-being of cities and make them sustainable. Completion of the Master of Sustainable Urban Planning and development meets the minimum entry requirements for admission into any Master’s degree of Urban and Regional Planning.

The module composition (detailed in the attached) is seemingly appropriate for your office and colleagues at large.
